I ordered a key/remote fob through Amazon from KeylessOption. The part number from my working key is HLOjo1959753T. I ordered the that Part Number and had the locksmith cut the key. The ignition system accepted the key but of course motor shutoff would occur within a couple of seconds. The locksmith was unable to program the key/transponder using a MVP Pro programming device. He did determine the pin code for the immobilizer. I called KeylessOption and they said I ordered the wrong FCC ID number. They sent me a Key/remote with the following FCC ID number: FCC ID NBG8317T but the FCC ID number on my working key is NBG735868T . I'm having trouble finding a key/remote satisfying both numbers and it being compatible with my 2001 VW Beetle GLS. When I chose a key/remote with those two numbers then Amazon alerts me that the key will not work with my car. Where am I going wrong?
