So there is an alh motor with automatic transmission in the junkyard, marked to get crushed in the next few days. car has 170,00 miles on it, and cylinders have hone marks in them and piston protrusion looks good across the board. I want to pull this motor tomorrow before this car gets crushed.

It appears bentley manual says to pull motor and transmission, i have no interest in the manual transmission. what would you suggest I do? Hook the motor up to the engine hoist and drop the subframe/auto tranny? or pull motor and tranny then separate them out of the car?

Also, anything else I should consider pulling from this car?
