Hello, I have noticed that when my 06' jetta tdi is in idle, the radiator fan on the passenger side does no turn on, only the one on the drivers side. It does this even when the ac is full blast and engine is up to operating temp. My wife has a jetta exactly like mine and I noticed it does the same thing. Does this fan come on only when you are driving and can't see it, or is it just a coincidence that my wife's jetta has the exact same problem?

    Thanks!

I had same problem. It is sticking brushes in the motor. I removed the entire fan assembly and put it in a vise and whacked the corner of the motor with a hammer and a punch 3 times. It worked. Some said to to disassemble the motor and move thr brushes by hand to free them. I did it by just giving it s good whack!
