    Hi All

I've got the front end off my car to do a timing belt and water pump. There is quite a bit of oily gunk on the bottom timing cover and behind the crank sprocket. There's also a fair bit of oil around the bottom of the intercooler.

Is there a quick way to do the front seal or do I have to remove the carrier and sump pan etc?

    Thanks in advance

    George
