I have changed the oil in my 2005 Jetta TDI and each time the oil light will beep and oil light on dash flashes. How do I get it to stop ? The oil filter is in correctly and the oil is at the correct level.

I would first check the wire to the sensor. You may inadvertently knocked it loose off..

If the oil pressure switch wire is disconnected then it won't light the warning light its earthed through the oil pressure switch.

Interesting! My BEW will not shut up if the wire is loose. I converted to a mechanical Guage without a "T" and had to run the sender wire to ground to stop the beeping/light.

Up to a certain model year the TDI engines had two oil pressure switches, one closing at a minimum pressure (idle speed), the second opening at about 2000 rpm (again at a requested minimum pressure ).
This was changed by Volkswagen with newer models to one switch.
You need to know which version of oil pressure control is used in your car --> factory repair manual.
