EGR delete

    can any one tell what size of drive i need to remove the bolts on the EGR valve smaller pipe pictured here please?

    they are either allen or torx, i'd imagine

    what size though, i don't know

    If you know they are Torx why are you asking if you have a full set of Torx sockets? The year of your Audi A4 would be an advantage?

    2007 and I DO NOT HAVE A SET OF TORX BITS hence asking for the size so i can buy one!

    get a set

    anyway, just judging by the rough size of the threads of the bolt(looks to be 8mm to me, possibly 6mm), i'd imagine it was a t40

    either way, a cheap set would be good to have for other things on the car later down the road
