Called my VW dealer, said he could do the oil and fuel filter changes for 1/2 the cost of Porsche.

$145 for oil and about $160 for fuel.

Why is it crazy? Same engine same specs?

Sure I can do it myself for 100 bucks or so. but if they can do it for 150 why not? would take 8 oil changes before i recoup the fixed cost of a evac system and duramteric scan tool.

Yea, as long as it gets a quality filter and 507 oil (OEM at dealership). So why not.
