My Cruz TD is currently at the dealer with check engine code P20ee. Has anyone had this happen to their Cruz? The deal has called the Chevy tech support but they have not returned the call.

UPDATE: After a week in the dealership and many discussions with the GM Technical Support office, my car is beack and as good as new. It had a faulty "Heated Oxygen Sensor." Sensor replaced and they drove it for 100 miles. problem fixed. I did get rental for the past week and they detailed my car. Happy to have my Cruz TD back. And so far, the Cruz TD is not affected by any of the GM recalls. Knock on wood.

By the way, the engine check light came on as I was traveling down the highway last week. I pressed the On-Star button and asked for a dignostic. They ran it while I was driving and gave me the code and put me in touch with a dealer. On-Star is one feature you cannot get with VW.

This is my first American Car (only owned VW before). So far I am very pleased. I'm willing to consider this to be a bump in the road.

Yeah, the recall stuff has been in the news a lot. There was a Cruze specific recall but only for the 1.4T engine. I would consider this a random failure.

Not the same as On-Star, but VW has Car-Net

yes, just a bump in the road. Keep in mind the chevy cruze diesel is in it's first production year. I would expect a few more.

Yeah got 12000 with nothin but excitement with how fun it is to drive. Steering isnt as smooth as would like but def a minor thing I can live with cuz this engine is made for the car.

I don't know if Cruz use the same error codes as VAG?

    VAG Error Code: 008430/15733/9050

    EOBD II Error Code: P20EE

    Fault Location:
Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) Sensor, Catalyst, Bank 1 - Efficiency Below Threshold

    Possible Cause:
    Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL)(K83) active.

    Wiring/Connector(s).
    Nitrogen oxide (NOx) sensor.
    Engine Control Module (ECM).

    Possible Solutions:
    Check/Replace all faulty Wiring/Connector(s).
    Read Measuring Value Blocks (MVB).
