    Hi all

I have a couple of problems recently with my mk4 golf tdi ALH.

While driving I don't seem to get any boost until 3k plus and then there isn't much.

I have code read the car and it doesn't have anything I have change vacuum pipe from wastegate to N75 the vnt arm is moving freely.

Also I have pulled the pipe off the N75 valve while the car is idle then connected it while watching the wastegate and it seems to pull it fully open and it right up against the stop screw.

I am wondering if it is my N75 is knackered or my wastegate it does seem to move very easily when the vacuum line isn't attached to anything but when connected there is a small amount of resistance but I can still push it 3/4 of the way open.

Get one of these https://www.harborfreight.com/mityvac-vacuum-pump-39522.html and check your vacuum system for leaks. From what you describe, you probably do have a vacuum leak somewhere.

If you connect the Mitey Vac in place of the vacuum pump, your entire vac system once pumped down should hold vacuum pretty much indefinably.
