    Coming up on rebuild time....
I got a couple of free gallons of Mobile One full synthetic 15W-50 oil from a friend.
It says it's for API Service SN, not a diesel designation.
It would make a great summer oil. Can I use it in my daily driver 1.6 NA engine.
    Normally I run Chevron Delo 400 15-W-40.
    Comments please.

hmmmmm unless your in a desert.. it will cause oil leaks... honestly 15-40 should too.. way too much op in that engine cold and thicker oil just causes leaks... ive been running 1.6na since 89... a nice cold morning... oil leaks :( but back in 89-say 95.. they only had 5-30, 10-30, 15-50... so yes used it back then in summer months when abused... once i took my head out my as and stuck to 10-30 eliminated oil leaks...
