I got my fix money three days after getting the fix. Thursday January 26th was the appointment and the money was I the bank on Monday the 30th. Car runs great with even more power and improved mpg's. I highly recommend it.

Thanks, did just that. A day after sending in the notarized paperwork got the final acceptance. Went online just to look at the next step - not formally set appointment. Held off at the "Begin" button so chatted with them and assured didn't have to set appointment now and could even change it if I did set an appointment, and could even change dealerships as I have 3 dealers about the same distance away. Looking at the schedule, the closest was 7 weeks out which tell me I have about a two week window for a 10 week build/delivery of the new car. While I see the build "in process" online, next week will check with the dealership to fine tune the date. Then the biggest issue will be scheduling after payment on 1st of month so the payoff calculation includes that payment as opposed to both hitting because the auto-transfer payment wasn't cancelled.

Any of you who have turned in your car and completed the buyback process... were any of you over on your mileage?

I just read something on the portal about if you're over on miles your appointment may have to be re-scheduled.

I think I'll be about 1000 miles over. My appointment is on March 15.

I will be over too. I phoned the helpline several times to double check and they said it's ok if you go over while waiting. I took a note of the date and time I called and the operator's name just in case they try to screw me later.

they'll readjust the number on the spot, they overestimated the miles I'd put on before turn in and recalc'd right in the office.

Over-mileage is only an issue if you are doing a paper check, as they cannot adjust the check value at the dealership. Originally if this happened they were making people reschedule their appointments; but they've since corrected their issues and now they just offer you the option to get your updated check in the mail.

If you are doing EFT they just adjust everything on the spot and your EFT payment is updated before you receive it.

The salesman told me hardly anyone is taking the blue juice refit, they expected 30%, they're getting no where near that. It's real simple, we already make the extra effort trying to find quality diesel for our TDIs now you want us to have to deal with another fluid. VW and others are making gassers that get nearly the same mileage without the hassle.

I turned in my TDI on Feb 22nd and still have not received my money. I was told 3 business days and it is now the end of business day 11. I've called multiple times and get no answers. I've been told that my case has been escalated and someone will call me. I am concerned and very upset!

You aren't alone, unfortunately. e-mail the Settlement class counsel, they may be able to help out at least.

I have finished my process on Feb 3rd and promptly got the Chase check. However, I am still making payments through VW Financial for the car I do not own anymore. I called 844-98-CLAIM ans was surprised that I got to talk to a human pretty fast. This was last Monday. No matter their assurances that it will be taken care of, my next payment posted tonight. Anybody has any suggestions on how to take care of this? I already paid 4 times since initiating the buyback and since they "locked" amount they will pay to VW Financial.

Any suggestion would be very much welcome. Thanks in advance.

Tomorrow will be 3 weeks since I turned in my TDI. I have no money and keep getting no responses to my calls. I spoke to a manager today who insulted me by telling me that someone owes him money and his "children are not eating the way I'd like them to eat. I wish I got my money too."
I'm offended and upset. I need my money and I'm getting no where.
